Crystal Owens, LCSW
Crystal is a Licensed Clinical Social Worker, providing services to individuals and families affected by environmental and social stressors, mental health issues, and developmental trauma utilizing a variety of evidence-based therapeutic approaches. Crystal has extensive experience completing comprehensive diagnostic assessments and risk assessments to evaluate for appropriate level of care and determine treatment needs. Crystal is a registered Circle of Security Parent Educator promoting attachment-based techniques where “learning occurs from within a secure base relationship”.
Crystal has worked in social services since 2005. She received her Master’s Degree from Boise State University in 2011. Prior to that, Crystal was a Psychosocial Rehabilitation Specialist for two years and Program Coordinator of a non-profit community-based program in Spirit Lake (Youth Equipped for Success) for over five years. Crystal also has experience in psychiatric hospitals and hospice settings. In addition, Crystal has worked as a certified nurse assistant, providing in home care, for five years. These hands-on experiences provided opportunity for development of compassion, empathy, and concern for the wellbeing of others.
